Qualifications

Steve Snider is a graduate of Chapman School of Marine Surveying and is a member of SAMSŪ, the Society of Accredited Marine SurveyorsŪ. Steve has a SAMSŪ AMSŪ rating, is ABYC (American Boat and Yacht Council) standards accredited and member of Boat US Technical Exchange. Steve previously owned a marine repair business that specialized in high performance offshore boats and being a performance boat enthusiast himself is especially qualified to survey these go-fast type boats. His eye for detail on the high performance boats carries over in his ability to survey the larger boats. Steve is a current USCG Master (Captain) 100 ton Ocean with towing endorsement and is available for yacht deliveries. He is active in SAMS continuing education programs and provides a thorough and complete marine survey that has received praise from insurance and financial institutions. Recently surveyed vessels include 124' Azimut, 87' Warren, 70' Bertram, 56' Sunseeker, 55' Ocean, 50' Andy Mortenson, 48' Fountain, Sea Rays of all sizes and various other vessels. Sailboats surveyed include Cantiere Del Pardo, Hans Christian, Beneteau, Morgan and many others. Steve also surveys many smaller boats including center console and performance boats such as Nortech, Skater, and Cigarette boats. Whether it is a multi million dollar yacht or a small runabout Steve provides a quality marine survey for a fair price. Steve and his wife Jacquie spend many weekends aboard their own boat cruising the south Florida coastline and Florida Keys. |
